Painting hit a bit of a low recently but with a day off and no kids/wife around, I managed to finish off a few of the things on the painting board, namely the new Chaplain on Bike, an apothecary and 11 sternguard.
These will be the last marines I paint for a while as frankly, I find them a bit boring. This might be down to the colour scheme I’ve chosen, there’s only so much green and silver I can handle in one go!
Definitely back to fantasy figs for a bit. I just have to decide what to pick!

Love the chaplain and the marines look pretty cool too. I understand the need to mix things up though and will be interested to see what you go for in the world of fantasy.

It will likely be either dwarves (a big unit of great weapons or pirate slayers), some Bretonnian knights or some Lizardmen Ripperdyctls (flying dinosaurs).

Good work. I think that there might be a bit of hobby malaise in the blogging world lately between you, me and TheImperfectModeller. That Chaplain on a bike is such a cool model and I really love the Sternguard kit.

They are great kits, some of my favourite 40K ones. My malaise is the opposite to some. With furloughs and then redundancies my workload is through the roof so it’s finding the time to hobby.
